The Skate Central roller skating arena is located in the Steel City of Sheffield. We first opened our doors to the public in the summer of 2005 and we pride ourselves on being the best value recreational sporting activity in the City.

 

Here at Skate Central, we host fun packed weekly public roller skating sessions where people of all ages with different skating abilities can skate to the top of the charts music and to classic party songs.  Our rink is 50 by 25 m, this means we have plenty of room for all to enjoy. During our Friday and Thursday sessions, we set time out for exciting and engaging games such as foxes and hounds and bulldog. Our regular customers all love and enjoy the games, everyone is welcome to join.  The weekend sessions are mainly family oriented, the majority of our customers are families with young children. Our friendly and dedicated staff go above and beyond to create a safe and an inviting environment for all to have the best time skating. 

 

 Along with the public sessions we host children birthday parties, roller hockey leagues and regularly hosts music concerts and amateur boxing events. On our premises, we have a cafe, an inline hockey store (Metal Monsters) and function suites (Stars and Mayfair).  Our cafe has an extensive food and drink menu and our dedicated cafe staff prepare all our meals are freshly prepared on order. The cafe is also licensed to sell alcohol.
