Welcome back to skating
This school holidays we are not open during the day time, but please come and join us either Thursday 5pm until 7pm, Friday 7pm until 9:30pm or Saturday and Sunday 2pm until 4pm for some skating, roller disco fun !!
Skate Central re-opens on THURSDAY 20 MAY 2021 for public skating and children's birthday party bookings. An online booking & payment system is available (our preferred option) or you can pay when you arrive.
We have been working really hard behind the scenes to make sure that our premises are COVID-19 safe and to ensure that you can continue to enjoy skating with us. Please help us all to stay safe by following the guidance signage around the premises.
About Us
The Skate Central roller skating arena is located in the steel City of Sheffield and opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2005.The premises were formally the home of the "Silver Blades" ice rink which operated in the City from 1968 to 2005. Skate Central hosts weekly public roller skating sessions, children's birthday parties, roller hockey leagues and regularly hosts music concerts and amateur boxing events
